Lean, Mean & Green

Jake and I have been feeling a bit off and under the weather… we spend so much time going in and out of the hospital with Jacob that I am sure we are probably always fighting something.  I decided we needed some extra, raw nutrients to our already healthy diet.  I played with different recipes all week and this one by far is PERFECTION! Let me know what you think!

1/4 cup pineapple, frozen works best
1/2 green apple
1/2 cup parsley
3 springs of fresh peppermint
1 stalk of celery
2″ chunk of cucumber
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup spinach
3 stalks of kale
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Blend until perfectly smooth, makes 2 smoothiesImage
